Material Needs
The Academy for Technology and the Classics
is a public charter school in Santa Fe, New Mexico
The school was given about 100 or so computers by the Highway Dept. last year. They are are now being put together into usable machines (at about 3 to 1). However they had no modems and we need Modems for them, 28 K or faster. If anyone knows a computer repair person or has a contact with a computer service company, we can use modems that would be thrown away. The machines are being built for faculty and for families that don't have computers. The office needs a Mac compatable ZIP drive. They could also use a PC compatable ZIP drive.
We need to create
a roll-around library for the site visit (10/11 & 10/12) and
we need wooden
bookcases so that Butch can put casters on them. Also if any
parents have
any fairly recent, up to date reference books to donate, we
could use them.
