July 2006:   We have received an Early Neighborhood Notification about a project that involves remodeling of buildings along Topeka and Early Streest, backing up against properties on Gilmore:

					Re: Early Neighborhood Notification Meeting	

Dear Neighbor:

In accordance with the requirements of the City of Santa Fe’s Early Neighborhood
 Notification Ordinance, this is to inform you that a meeting is scheduled for 5:30
 PM Tuesday August 8, 2006 at the Whole Foods Community Room, 753 Cerrillos Road, 
Santa Fe to discuss renovations proposed for 805 Early Street. The renovations will
 consist of renovating building B, renovating building C and adding a second story,
 exterior door and window changes to Building D, Exterior changes to Building F and
 the addition of an architectural raised roof. In addition there will be signage,
 parking lot, landscape, and access improvements. 	
The Early Neighborhood Notification Ordinance provides for an exchange of 
information between prospective applicants for development projects and the people
 who will be neighbors to the project.

August 8, 2006:   The ENN meeting was held at the Whole Foods community room. 16 people attended, including the project's manager and architects, current occupants of the buildings, a representative from the Gilmore Street residents, and a representative from the City Planning Department. Since the project essentially consists of sprucing up the existing buildings, doing landscaping and the like, it generated no controversy.

October 12, 2006:   The proposal comes before the Business Capital District Design Review Committee, 6PM in Council Chambers. Case BCD-2006-10

City reviews and permit applications are expected to take place in October-November 2006, with construction starting perhaps starting in late winter, with completion on the scale of about a year.
